What It Does

QRFixer Dynamic Dashboard is a serverless control console that connects physical prints to programmable cloud redirect endpoints. Unlike static barcodes that permanently bake a single destination link into their geometric pattern, dynamic QR codes route through a lightweight HTTP 302 redirect on our global edge network. This dashboard allows you to re-target destination URLs on existing marketing prints, inspect cumulative scan counts, and review aggregated geographic data without paying recurring subscription fees.

How to Use It

  1. Locate Your Access Credentials: Enter the 6-character short code (e.g., k9X2pQ) and the 24-character secret edit key you received when creating your dynamic code on the homepage generator.
  2. Review Analytics: Inspect the real-time scan counter, timestamp of the most recent interaction, and the city and country location where the scanner connected.
  3. Update Destination URL: Type or paste your updated landing page address into the Current Destination Target field and click Save & Update. Redirection updates propagate across Cloudflare edge caches immediately.
  4. Purge When Finished: When your promotional campaign concludes, click Permanently Purge Code to irreversibly wipe your redirection record and telemetry from our database.

Who It Is For

This management portal serves restaurant managers updating seasonal digital menus on printed acrylic table tents, real estate agents swapping property listings on physical yard signs, conference organizers redirecting attendee badges to live schedule updates, and retail brands running rotating coupon promotions without reprinting packaging.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my printed QR code still work after I change the destination URL?

Yes. That is the core advantage of dynamic codes. The physical code printed on your brochures, business cards, or packaging remains completely unchanged. When users scan the code, our edge network simply forwards them to your new URL.

What happens if I lose my 24-character secret edit key?

For your security and privacy, secret edit keys are cryptographically validated and never stored in plain text on our servers. If you lose your edit key and did not save it in your browser session, you will not be able to edit or delete that dynamic code.

How fast do destination URL updates take effect?

Updates are applied instantaneously in our distributed database. Scans initiated after you click Save will immediately redirect to the new destination URL with sub-15ms edge latency.

Are dynamic QR codes free, or will I be asked for a credit card later?

Dynamic codes generated on QRFixer are 100% free to use with no monthly subscriptions and no payment details requested. We sustain operating costs through standard Google AdSense advertising.

What scan telemetry data is recorded?

To provide analytics, our serverless edge function increments total scan counts and logs the approximate geographic location (city and country) along with the timestamp of the scan. We do not track individual users or sell telemetry data.

Can I permanently delete my dynamic code?

Yes. Clicking Permanently Purge Code instantly removes your record from Cloudflare D1. Once purged, the short link will return a standard 404 response and can never be recovered.

Privacy Note

We treat telemetry with enterprise diligence. While static barcodes run strictly on client hardware, dynamic codes require edge redirection to function. We log aggregate scan counts and coarse city/country metadata purely for dashboard analytics. We show non-intrusive advertisements from Google AdSense to sustain free tool access. Google uses cookies to serve personalized ads, which you can adjust or opt out of anytime in Google Ads Settings.
